Just like junk mail in the post, once the advertisers have got hold of your e-mail address, they share it around. If you reply to one of these junk mails, that just confirms your address is "alive" so they share it around some more.
They especially seem able to find hotmail addresses for some reason.
Change address, it's the only way to get a quiet life.
