I'm so fed up with all the Canadian mainstream parties that I won't vote for any of them, so it's happening here too. I like my local politicians far better (mayor, etc.). They don't belong to any party, and that's a darn good thing. They are free men and women, free to vote their conscience.

As for Maggie Thatcher, I detest her political attitude, but I'll have to go along with Bert on this one...I don't wish illness or death on anyone...not anymore. Such wishes have a way of coming back to haunt a person.
