Rick, I'm so glad you included accordions in your post there. Which means that what I'm looking for is not so much a "picking partner" as a "squeeze partner". Sounds pretty good to me.

(Seriously, though, I know you're right about the benefits of having someone to play with. Just my one experience playing with that wonderful squeezer, Mr. Swain, made a big difference for me.)
