We need a parody of Never Grow Old, about our music collections, called Never Wear Out. *G* It would be about going to heaven and being able to hear the songs again, all as fresh as the day they were made, from the actual singers, who would presumably be up there too.

In the meantime, I guess the safest place to stash 'em is in our hearts and memories. Don't you find if you learn a song to share it, it is harder to forget it than if you just listened to it? I mean, all the nuaces of the recording are so much more compelling in my mind, on the tunes I have listened to closely enough to learn them.
