Well I don't get some of these comments. I'm especially confused by Rick who says that he and Heather are "rootin'" for you. Does this treatment involve digging up sassafras or something? Are nuts and berries involved too? I thought radiation was done with radium and cobalt and other nasty stuff, but if digging up a shrub will help, I'd be glad to go out and see if I can blast out a few of the weeds we have growing, one of which has turned into some sort of tree.

As to writing another book, I think you should definitely take another stab at it. Amergin says he just quit shedding tears over the other one and anything that bad needs to be replaced! I got a PM from him explaining that the laughter was over the fact that anyone would have actually published the first one. So go ahead and try it again....as well as one on what you're going through now that was also suggested. If you're working on two books you'll not have time for anything else except the treatments and that oughta' keep your sorry ass out of this place for awhile and give poor old Doug a break.......not to mention the rest of us.

Now when you go in for your first treatment, do keep in mind it's April Fool's day. If they line the Gizmo up and you notice it's pointing straight up your ass and they explain that that is how they can best get to your throat, well, personally, I'd call them on it. Now for all I know, in your case, that may be the best way but it's worth saying something nonetheless.

And while I join in with those in hoping your voice is back soon, Ol' Spaw is always happy with the little miracles.........like just having you around at all......that'd be a pretty good treat in and of itself!!!!!
