Alternately, in Internet Explorer, if you want to clear some of the selections on a Google list, but not all, press the 'Delete' key when an item you wish to discard from the list is highlighted (by scrolling with your mouse over the list). Repeat for each item you want to discard. Not as fast as Jeff's method, but his also has the effect of clearing information for all forms, and I seldom want that to happen.
