A previous thread has mentioned the Mutinies in the Royal Navy at Spithead and The Nore, and individual mutinys aboard the "Hermoine",or "Northumberland".I've found nothing that I can spot in the DT, and I have my doubts as to wether any contempory fo'castle songs would have survived, as even the most liberal captain RN would have treated the singing of such a song a prelude to mutiny.
Do any catters know better - Do any catters who know thier way through Child and the Bodlien (Sic) collections have any better ideas.
Pure historic research you understand.
