Great town. Good sessions and tourist stuff to do. I'd suggest spending time in Galway and Doolin for the music if you get a chance to go to either or both. There's a great Independent Holiday Hostel called the Peacock Farm run by a delightful English couple named Owen and Rose Barnes outside of Kilarney. It's cheap and off the beaten path. Highly recommend it.
