Ian Paisley is a very old man, who is now an isolated, marginalized politician with a very tiny constituency. And like I said, regardless of the conventional West Brit wisdom being put forth by some Irish posters, I don't see how the Northern Unionists or the UK Tories and Unionists, can stop reunification. As soon as Sinn Fein gets it on the political agenda--and they will do so non-violently--it will get addressed by nationalist politicians both sides the border.
And that will be a damn lot more entertaining than more loyalist foaming at the mouth. Been there, seen that. It will be much more interesting to watch self-proclaimed Irish nationalist politicians explain why they are against a united republic of Ireland.
