Pdalessa: I learned how to play at 33. A buddy of mine while I was stationed aboard USS Kennedy showed me three chords. I bought some books and practiced after work every waking moment when I wasn't standing watch. I purchased a chord encyclopedia but some books do have the tablature. I'm still learning at forty-six.
