How about the Bob Dylan cover album by Burl Ives? Burl sure had a way with "The Times They Are A' Changing". Or perhaps the politically incorrect country classic "Don't Go Near the Indians" ,(Rex Williams?) which manages to offend the listener with scalpings , murder , and kidnapping then throws incest in for a hilarious twist.
