I've gotten this message twice, and since I live 3 miles from my work, it would be easy for me to do. But I have a cynical side, or perhaps a cautious one, that wonders just how realistic it is and whether it really would work- wouldn't it do just the opposite, drive prices even higher so the companies could make up for the loss or revenue for the day? I'd love to make a difference, but is this the way? I'm sure it would be better for me to get a bike instead of driving my 10 year old car 6 miles a day.
