"America's Song Butchers: The Weird World of Homer & Jethro." I just bought this one...it's a trip back into my deprived childhood. I remember my brothers bringing the "Billboard Song" home from summer camp.

I also have a 45rpm by some Doo Whoop singer and Carol King called, "I'm Happy Being Fat." I can't remember whether Carol sings on it or just is the writer and plays piano. Definitely early King.

I also have two of Rory Block's early(pre Rounder)LPs. One is Pop-R&B. The other is Disco. She does a good job on both on them, but both are a supreme waste of her talent.
