Thread Name: Gas Prices
Subject: RE: Gas Prices
You think that you folks in the US have gas woes? Here in the Vancouver, BC area we have watched our prices jump around from a low of $.33/litre to a high of $.57/litre, sometimes over night, sometimes over the course of a day. Now, for those of you who don't realize that Canada uses the metric system (we're still trying to figure it out!), 1 US gallon = 3.78 litres. I'll let you do the math. Even with the dollar the way it is, that is still a high price for gas, and one heck of a jump from one day to the next. I think things are beginning to settle down again, and of course at the higher rates. Many Canadians living near the border will travel south to buy their gas, just because it ends up being cheaper in the long run.

And I agree with Bill D., This is not the place for this type of thread.
