Some years back, Cleveland Amory wrote an article in TV Guide in which he said that he felt TV, movies, etc., were not violent enough. For example Magnum (PI) gets into a punch-up with the villain, and in the process he gets socked in the mouth and knocked down a flight of stairs. He gets up, wipes a little drip of blood from the corner of his mouth, runs back up the stairs, and creams the villain. All very heroic.

But if the scene right after the tumble down the stairs were a bit more realistic and showed Magnum laying in a hospital bed with one arm in a cast, one leg in traction, and his jaw wired shut, it might not look quite as glorious.

If music causes a person to go out and commit violence, then I'd say that person has a problem. Although, I have to admit that I have heard music from time to time that tended to inspire rather violent feelings toward the musician, but that's another story.
