As if you care............But on the off chance that you do (and did not refresh this one as you did so many others last night, just for the hell of it), then it had to do with another thread title that was running and the "proper place" of women. Hopefully at this point you've had the time to check out the book I suggested and have seen what a great place women have had in folk and country music. Yeah, I was hoping to draw some attention to this one because the subject is interesting, especially since so many of the trad ballads that were modified in the mountains were done so from a woman's point of view, in that particular culture and at that particular time.
