No nothing to do with Dibidil (that's Leo and Kris's thing is it not? Incestuous world, the Edinburgh folk scene). Current Malinky line-up is original members Karine Polwart (vocals/guitar), Steve Byrne (vocals/guitar/bouzouki), and Mark Dunlop (bodhran/whistles/flute), and new members Leo McCann (button box/whistles) and Jon Bews (fiddle, my squeeze) They go into the studio to begin the new album next week.

And since I'm blatantly advertising, can I also put in a word for Jon's other band Cantrip, recently signed to the abovementioned Footstompin' Records, due to record their first album in July...you should watch out for this one. :-)
