Er, excuse me Nigel Parsons, but a million is a million - one thousand thousands. There once was a difference between the definitions of a billion ... but that has now been standardised at a thousand billions (even if a great number of persons on one side of the Atlantic have not noticed any change in the 25 year old pocket Oxford propping up the cupboard.
