For anyone within reach of Rickmansworth (UK):
There's a weekend of folk song and music at the "White Bear", a pub in Rickmansworth (NW of London) on the weekend of 4/5/6 May. If you're not off to Rochester, Hastings or any of the other 'Mayday' bank holiday weekend events this might be for you.

On the Sunday evening, there's a (mostly English) tunes session which Mary and I are running, so please bring instruments and join us.

The pub has a garden which backs on to the canal - I haven't been there but it sounds like a like a nice setting. They will be serving food so you won't have to be drinking on an empty stomach from 6pm to closing time!
