Sandy, I'm far from an expert, but I wonder if you might have a corrupted cookie (now there's a concept...) which keeps throwing Max's server off the track. You might want to go through your cookie file (in the Windows folder) and delete any ones that say "Mudcat" or any others that you aren't absolutely sure you need, then go back and log in again. Just a thought.

By the way, I'd be interested in an authoritative explanation of how the word "cookie" came to be used for this kind of file.
