Wow, spaw, that's unbelievable. What would have happened if you had not taken on the responsibility? Or did you legally have to because you had "custody"?

I have another relative (with alzheimer's)in a nursing home and covered by medicaid (title19). All her assets are gone (and they were considerable at one point), but we're relieved that she is well taken care of, something that we could not do.
