I dont thnk "diety" or "deity" ia a problem, is not the case that Jews dont use vowels when naming God, because God doesnt like vowels (I may be a bit confused theology wise here, someonwill probably put me riht). So really it should just be "dty"...or possibly "dt" as the y is used as a vowel. Either way, the i before e rule is redundant when discussing omnipotent omnipresent beings.
