The only reason I ever had one was cause I was too lazy to shave. But I always shaved bare on September 30 (another story) and, one October 2, a client I had met a few days before, a rather attractive, younger lady, remarked at how much younger I looked without the beard, even with the double chin the beard was (I thought) hiding. Gee, I feel some five o'clock shadow... 'scuse me for a minute.
