I have a beard by doctors orders. No shit. I struggled for a year with a verruca, or wart-like condition on my chin, and had to get the growths frozen off regularly, and the growths reappeared in different locations. Finally, my doctor advised me to stop shaving, as he believed that shaving helped spread the virus.

It was weird, at first, adapting to a life without shaving. But Dr. Joe was right- the growths have stopped. And that''s why I am bearded today. Thanks, BlueJay
