The Marble Arch used to have a folk club, but that was when Harry Ogden was landlord. The Queens is almost certainly up for it and are in discussions at the mo for a weekday folk night. The landlord there (Dave Glass) used to be my neighbour and I haven't seen him in years!

My favourite around the area at present though is the Old Pint Pot - real ale, good pub and, of all things, good Polish food - cooked by an American!!!

I am certainly up for it - need any help? I arranged the Swinton get togethers the last couple of Octobers and it is pretty straight forward. Get a pub with beer. Get people there. Leave them to it...;-)
