between the ages of 20 and about 30, I tried almost every combination of hair length and cuts of facial hair, and took notes of reactions ....added in how hard it was to maintain and my own view of myself....and ended up the opposite of Seamus Kennedy...mutton chops!

I shave the chin, 'cause I have a patch that doesn't grow right under the chin, and it's 'different'. One cheap razor will last for many weeks, and I have light, easy to cut whiskers. Add to that the fact I have cut my own hair for the last 25 years, and I have saved enough for a tour of the Neil Young Center!
