Once again I have to carp at the presumtion that everyone knows where everyone else is. To say "We didn't feel a thing here,' could be egotistical (Everyone knows where I am), cliquish (those who know who I am know where I am and screw anybody else), modest (nobody will care who or where I am -even if it kills the point of a geographically oriented thread), lack of consideration (I don't care if my post is meaningless, I just don't care), or simple oversight (oh, didn't I mention where I am?).

In any case, it is so easily remedied that I urge everyone to get into the easy habit of saying, "Well, that's just the way it looks to me here in Yonkers, NY, looking out across the Bronx River into Tuckahoe in Westchester County, New York about 16 miles from Times Square and the same distance from Indian Point."

Where I didn't feel the earthquake because I was in Wilmington Delaware at the time visiting my daughter, where there was no tremor either.
