Central Connecticut here - most definitely felt it. Woke wife & me up, bed shaking (yeah yeah, because the earth moved), dresser-mirror wobbling, twigs or nuts falling off trees & clattering on roof, etc. Seemed to last 15 seconds or so; not sure because half-awake. Big deal on local news, everybody saying they felt it. Somebody blamed it on the recent heat wave. :) TV weather guy illustrated plate tectonics by pushing 2 pieces of cardboard together, with no discernable effect. Great fun. // In my youth (oy) I misspent some time in and around Plattsburgh. Courting. Think I've been on that rural road that collapsed in or near Ausable Forks, or Keesville. // Here in CT there was a rather considerable earthquake epicentered at a place called Moodus, in colonial times, mid-1700's. / I remember it well. Terrible destruction.
