Just 38 days 'til a modest little one-day Folk Festival, now in its 12th year, The Back 40 Folk Festival, an hour southwest of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, always has a workshop stage running all afternoon. Some folk in MI and ND might be interested. 11-sundown, Sunday June 2, 2002. Very reasonable admission (in those cheap $CDN) and stuff for the WHOLE family. Usually a few thousand in attendance; mainstage, kids stage; workshop stage, in a beautifull grassy bowl on the banks of the Dead Horse Creek.
