I have to mention here that some of the biggest *$$holes I have ever met in my life were men with beards, although that doesn't mean it's a given rule by any means. I recall Hart "the fart", for example...a bearded jerk I once knew in Toronto whose primary personality trait was acting like God's gift to women and throwing his (considerable) weight around while burbling double entendres of a very obvious sort to any woman in reach. Most (if not all) females detested him.

They used to say that if Hart were to take all his clothes off and stick his tongue out, you could have stood him upside-down or right-side up, and no one would have been able to tell the difference.
