I just think it is interesting. When doing slides/bluesy stuff, it's pretty hard to keep all the fiddles in exactly the same place in the slide.......and, there are hardly any open strings in that piece, so it would be the fingers that are "out of tune" and not the instrument. I admit, my fingers do get out of tune, sometimes a lot!
