Before he became famous as Steve McGarret on Hawaii 50 Jack Lord played a sort of journeyman rodeo rider in a show called Stoney Burke. In the early seventies a must watch in our house was Bronson a show about a guy travelling America on a motorbike. Onew of my favorite cowboy shows was one starring LLoyd Bridges circa 1969 called The Loner. Top of my list of forgotten shows has to be a dreadful thing called Dusty's Trail.
