This Sunday May 5 during WFDU-FM's TRADITIONS broadcast, we will pay tribute to Jug Band Day. No, don't go running to your calendars, you don't have a three day weekend or anything - this is a spur of the moment holiday that we decided was needed.

My guest will be Jack Pignatello, one of the founding members of the Dirdy Birdies Jug Band. Jack has collected recordings from jug bands across the globe. We will have some fun and talk a little history.
