Nimoy's renditions of popular song are...mediocre. He can sort of sing, up to a point. The arrangements are lacklustre and predictable. It sounds like it would if your average high school English teacher, a nice guy, decided to do an album of cover tunes. Some of the songs he chooses to do are a bit surprising, but there are no other surprises whatsoever.Shatner on the other hand sounds like no other, skirting the thin line that is drawn between raving insanity and (dare I say it) godlike genius! :-) You have to be either totally mad, divinely inspired, or in the grip of an ego the size of Rhode Island to have the nerve to do what William Shatner has done...
It's a damn shame that those Dylan/Shatner sessions fell apart before realizing their full potential. The world of recorded music would have been changed forever.
Spaw - I'm puzzled. You are "infinitely sexier"...than what???
