Diz, come off the M6 at Junction 24 and take the A58 towards Hindley. It will take you through Ashton-in-Makerfield, Bryn Gates, and Platt Bridge. The Strangeways is on Liverpool Road, that part of the A58 between Platt Bridge and Hindley, and it's on the left-hand side of the road. Go to Multimap and input "244 Liverpool Road, Wigan" in the quick search box. That will give you a 1:10000 scale map with the pub ringed. Click on the "printer friendly" button for a version to print off. I'll look forward to seeing you and your friends.
