I would like to nominate Cumberland (with patriotic pride) as the English county featured most often in song/tune titles. I can think of Cumberland Road, Cumberland Gap, Cumberland Reel( 2 different tunes), Bonny Cumberland, Cumberland Nelly, Canny Old Cumberland, Cumberland March, Cumberland Mountain Bear Chase ( I appreciate some might consider the American and Irish entries cheating, but it's the actual name I'm talking about). But I have a strong feeling Yorkhire and Lancashire could both quite probably match this. Any takers?
