Hooray for you, Sue!!!!! So many of us know people who've had this terrible disease (and some who've died of it). For me, it was Elaine, a co-worker who had been a heavy smoker and had quit before I knew her. She was one of the most vivacious, outgoing ladies I knew, always ready with a helping hand, never afraid to speak her mind. She had had breast-cancer surgery and treatment and was in remission. She was preparing for retirement, looking forward to spending more time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren (and coping with a mother with Alzheimer's) when the cancer struck again, this time spreading through her body and all too quickly taking her life. It was hard to believe that someone so full of life could die.

So thank you, Sue, for all your hard work to raise money to find the treatments and cures that will keep this from happening to other women. You go, girl!

Sharon

P.S. – Andrés, I'll be keeping you and your wife in my thoughts, too, and hoping for the best result of that biopsy. Sí, un abrazo.
