Just to set the record straight, my definition of 'folk' is not that it has an acoustic guitar and an accordion.

I simply assumed it was yours when you considered "Nothing Ever Happens" to be a folk song. Del Amitri were, and still are primarily an electric rock band. Apologies if I misunderstood.

However, I don't think I did. In the Matchstick [sic] Men thread you seem to consider 'Brian and Michael' to be folkies. Why?

You definition of "it's folk if it's good and tells a story" is so laughably pathetic that I won't even bother responding.
