a name which I think was also used by a Folk Group or band.

There is a chain of funeral directors in SW London / Surry called
PAINES.


BTW CarolC - I think that the fact that the founder of WANG COMPUTERS was called AN WANG was more likely to have provided the derivation of the company name. BTW
