Thread Name: BS: Help: 1975 Quarter
Subject: Found a Quarter :-)
The United States Mint did make quarters in 1975, but all of them were dated 1776-1976. They did not make any quarters in 1922, 1931, or 1933. I believe those were the only years in the 20th century they didn't do so. Am I right?
FOUND A QUARTER
To be sung to the tune of Found a Peanut (trad):
Found a quarter, found a quarter, Found a quarter last night. Last night I found a quarter, Found a quarter last night.
It was dated, it was dated, It was dated seventy-five. Seventy-five it was dated, It was dated seventy-five.
It was phony, it was phony, It was phony last night. Last night it was phony, It was phony last night.
Spent it anyway, spent it anyway, Spent it anyway last night. Last night I spent it anyway, Spent it anyway last night.
Got arrested, got arrested, Got arrested last night. Last night I got arrested, Got arrested last night.
Went to prison, went to prison, Went to prison last night. Last night I went to prison, Went to last night.
They released me, they released me, They released me last night. Last night they released me, They released me last night.
Became an ex-con, became an ex-con, Became an ex-con last night, Last night I became an ex-con, Became an ex-con last night.
Unemployment, unemployment, Unemployment last night, Last night unemployment, Unemployment last night.
Cold and hungry, cold and hungry, Cold and hungry last night, Last night I'm cold and hungry, Cold and hungry last night.
Found a quarter, found a quarter, Found a quarter last night. Last night I found a quarter, Found a quarter last night.
