I used to collect names from the births column in the local paper. (Obviously too much time on my hands in those days) My favourite was a couple whose surname was Trenchpole, who named their poor little baby son Albert Shipstone. And sorry, Spaw, but I don't get the Sharon Peters one. Am I naive too? My sister went to school with a Debbie Reynolds and a Gary Cooper and I used to work with Robin Hood!
