Trying to trace him through Friends House may be difficult if he has moved monthly meeting a couple of times. If you can recall the area of Wales he was in I can probably identify the Clerk of his former meeting who will have a record if he requested a membership move. (Yep even we Quakers are bogged down in bureaucracy :) ) This might put you on his trail
