Kendall, I love what Troll said -- that getting old is not for sissies! 'Struth.

In the meantime, I know from the early days after my transplant -- there are times when you don't want to hear how lucky you are to be alive. You want somebody to sympathize with how rotten you feel! Well I do. Yes it's a medical miracle, I'm thrilled that the outlook is so good, but still --- It's some damned hard times to be gotten through.

So. Right now you're caught in the medical meat grinder, a most uncomfortable place to be ... you have my sympathy ... and I'll play my zither just for you again, when you make it to the Getaway. How's that for something to look forward to? You should hear me plunk out Beer Barrel Polka on that thing!;-)
