A group of friends (~6 of us) were getting together weekly to sing traditional black gospel (group is racially mixed, with only 1 member who is experienced & talented in traditional quartet singing).

We lost our piano player and were acapella for awhile. Practices were at my house, and every so often we'd use the piano in my house for something (like starting a song on the same note each time). The piano had been purchased for my daughter's piano lessons, and had been unused for many years. Gradually, i started "playing". I need all the help i can get; I guess that's why i joined Mudcat!
