I found Julian Lennon's sound a bit too close to his dad's for comfort. It didn't feel like he was making his own music, rather copying his father and for me there could only be one. Another son of a famous dad that disapeared is Chesney Hawkes, son of Chip Hawkes of Tremoloes fame(now I'm showing my age). Sat next to this "spotty kid" on a flight from London to New York when he was "popping over for a couple of days in the studio" and couldn't help thinking he wouldn't have even got his foot in the door if it hadn't been for his dad. He had the resigned air if someone who'd seen it all and done it all before which didn't sit well on a kid who looked like he'd just got into long pants.
