Like Capri-Uni, this was my first time in even hearing anything about this group. I didn't see any of the glitz, tits, or anything else. I *heard* a couple of wimmin having a great time, very articulate, having an intellgent conversation about their music, which they unabashedly claim for being modern, their own compositions, with a medieval twist. They also were unapologetic to the purists who have apparently denigrated them since they first hit the classical music scene in 1998. I would urge anyone who is interested to visit the npr site and listen to the interview. It interested me enough to keep me in the car instead of shopping and enough to come here and see who knew what about them.:-) Oh, and Giok, no offence, but since I was female, last time I checked, I didn't get a hard-on...just had fun listening to some "uppity" wimmin I could relate to.
