I started on harmonica when I was about 14, 'cos it was all I could afford and blues was a 'thing' back then. I then got into bass guitar. I'd always liked bass lines and I was singing bass in choirs.

Melodeon followed - well that's just a mechanical harmonica anyway. And lastly bouzouki when I realised I would never be a guitar player (I think maybe I'm much happier with 4 strings/courses).
