Well, I'm listening to M/Babes' Salva Nos CD bought after I caught a glimpse of them on UK TV (think it was Millenium Night?) Honestly? Technically, they are not great enunciators and some of the voices sound rather girls school choir-ish: somewhat 'immature'/ undeveloped -However, it is good to hear vocal individuality: comparing them to Anonymous 4 who are sublime (but so sublime I tend to fall asleep). But, for fun and keep listening to value? I'd have to say (being very low-brow meself despite having Hilliard Ensembles' 'Officium' and Henry's Eight in the next slot on the rack) give me the girls anytime!!! They have energy, are fun and I think like the Bond Girls it's just sour grapes to folks who don't want the rabble getting to know about musical stuff they'd prefer to keep elitist!
