This weekend is the 50th Florida Folk Festival in White Springs Florida at the Stephen Foster Memorial Park. It was saved by the Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida State Parks system after being cut by the Department of State (guess who). Among our headliners we count Mike Seeger this year.

There will be a number of mudcatters performing including I believe, Frogmore, PaulG and the Ashley Gang, and yours truly who will be hosting the autoharp workshop. Look for me hosting the Tower stage on Sunday afternoon as well!

We hit a record low this morning thanks to our illustrious neighbors in Canada and we have had some good rain so it will be wonderful weather! I think the Okeefenokee Swamp fire is out so no smoke and ash from the north this year and none either from the south!! Ya'll come! Abby
