I think you're refering to Gerry Creen, Philippa - a fine performer and a stalwart of the Belfast scene for many years. I haven't seen Gerry for about 10 years and when I returned to Belfast for a visit recently, I was told that he hadn't been performing much in recent years. A shame, really, because he had much to offer.
